Did a bit of poking around on the webs to try to find an R700 patterned 22lr. I ran out of patience and rage quit my search. Anyone know of anything in Canada?

Came across those on the web. Tried a Canada search but came up empty. Thanks for the link. Those look awesome. Quite pricey tho :/ know of anything else? Or is that it other than the elusive Rem 40XB which is more rare that a unicorn fart.
Rem 540 and 541 come up on the EE periodically if the 40X is out of reach. They are known for good accuracy as is the more recent 504. The 504 also now discontinued just didn't have the success of the earlier 54x series None of these share the footprint of the 40X and its clones or compliant with all the aftermarket kit that fits the 700 short and 40X.
There have been several requests by interests south of the 49th for Remington to resurrect the 40X RF but to no avail. Considering the cost of custom action clones that are improved 40Xes , it is likely not in the cards that the 40Xwill come back. As yodave has said the Turbo has the footprint and is a better action as is the Stiller 2500 which is also available repeater.
