RA XCR Pistol Grip ???

My OD green XCR should be arriving in the next week or so I understand that it is coming with a black AR pistol grip I'd like to switch it to an OD green grip.

Which grip would you recommend and were in BC or Alberta would be the best places to check the different grips out?

I live in BC but will be in Alberta next week so I'm hoping to take advantage of the trip to check this out... :D
 
I have Magpul MIAD's, MOE, Ergo, Hogue, and stock A2 grips on my ARs. On an XCR I would probably go with a Hogue for a few reasons.

The Hogue is available in OD, fits the hand well, is a not too tacky kind of rubber and one of the thinner diametered grips out there. I would think you would be using gloves sometimes when varminting so grip thickness can be an issue. Can be had for around $25.00. OD might be a special order though.
 
Magpul MIAD installs on an XCR. You have to retain and re-use the original XCR screw, other then the AR-15 screw supplied by Magpul due to different threading on XCR. The safety detent spring on the XCR is in the same location as on AR-15.
 
Ok just called Wolverine added a OD green Magpul Miad to my XCR order... :)

Will look for the Houge when I am in Alberta.
 
I checked they do not have OD green in stock otherwise I would have bought from them...

I have a business account there so it would have been a lot cheaper plus there are a couple more items I need so it would have worked out great.
