Seems like an okay deal, but I'm not a CZ expert. No deal is too good to pass up if it's not the right rifle for you. But it sounds like it will work for you. In general, stay with sporter weight barrels if you anticipate doing unsupported shooting.

I wouldn't be surprised if you wind up wanting two (or more) 22 rifles: One open sights, one scoped.

I was hoping I could use the lux with open sights see how I like it then put a scope on it if I want to try optics since it can accept them.
now deciding weather the 455 with barrel replacement is a good idea? I wont get the same deal as the 452 tho so probably pass on it. the way I see it if I want another caliber I will buy a new rig instead of swapping barrels.

maybe ill do the lux in .22lr for hunting and get that savage I like in 17hmr or WMR with scope

For the lux there is a peep that replaces the rear leaf. I put one on my 452 FS and its great. I think it was 35 bucks.

I have a Savage 4C that's a full size rifle and very accurate with it's open sights. An old one but a good one.
