I know there out there but all we can find is good forest and allot of poop. kudos to you guys who get em in the summer.

2 weekends in a row with out any meat.

Beagles would rock. My parents down in ontario have one that I trained pretty good but unfortunately shes down there and were I live right now we cant have any dogs. witch is kinda BS cus its a house and we all hunt / quad. but just the way it goes.
 
I once heard from an old trapper that your not supposed to eat rabbit in any month that does not have an "R" in it. It was disease related but can't remember the particulars. Might just be an "old trappers" tale though.

Tularemia is a bacterial infection that is common when rabbit populations are high. It can be spread to humans through the skinning process. You see blister like pockets of water in the flesh, just under the skin. I've seen it in November when rabbit populations were crazy high.
