wondering what the regs are for rabbits and hares in sask(bag limits, lisences, seasons, etc) also wondering if there are any problems hunting doves/pigeons on the property of the local farmers, with there permission of course. thanks a bunch, thinking of getting into small game. edit: ill be using a pellet rifle or a .22lr

If you decide on a centerfire there are certain zones during the big game season where you can't hunt them ie WMZ 20 Moose Jaw and WMZ 30Saskatoon. Hunting wildlife on Sundays during a big game season is also not permitted so no birds or rabbits regardless of method.
I would suggest getting a Hunter's and Trappers guide and looking it over and if you really want to know it read the Sask game act.

Scott gave you the bad news, now here's the good...NO license required, No seasons & No limits.
Doves are NOT pigeons in the law. Mourning doves do not have a SK hunting season, they have to migrate to Montana before they magically become game birds. For barn/city pigeons, you're good to go.

Tell those mourning doves not to head west, over the Rockies, because if they do, they also become game!
