I shot a rabid racoon in the head with a 1000 fps Diana pump pellet gun at 30 yards. Took off half the skull and the brain was exposed. Thought it was dead (blood everywhere) but when I went to pick it up it sat up and hissed at me !! :eek: Scared the living crap out of me!
 
got all excited when i went to replenish my deer apples untill i checked my trail cam, 100lbs of apples carried away in one GD night, little bastards
 
Had my first run in with coons just after we moved into our first house 30+ years ago,kept getting into the garbage cans even with bricks on the lids,so sat up all night,heard the bricks crash opened the door they were running for the bush #4 buck ended the chase.Find out years later the guy down the road was feeding "the furry little bandits".Then came home last night 2 standing in my driveway little more suburbia here so took the lousville slugger out they hissed but when I was 10 feet away they bolted or they would have got tattooed. We are up to our ears in possums out here and see them everywhere,the 70lb. pitt bull that lives in my backyard has chomped 2 hates rats even big ones lol
