More than some cheap cars... It's a hand made true scale version of the Browning 1919 action, I have the disintegrating links pictured for it and fabric too, it feeds either interchangeably.

It has a unique 'post and pyramid' sight system, where you stack a pyramid shaped front sight onto the rear post, safety at the back of the action, all steel and untold man hours worked in making.

Oh and belt life and link life is near unlimited, no sharp feed pawls.

As a side note, the grey disintegrating links pictured are magnetic, so they clump together separate from the brass when they fall out the ejection chute under the mechanism.

Yep, .17 HM2. And I was wrong, only 11 were made. They made 50 .22 LR's, and 11 .17's, for cool factor the little linked bottlenecked black or red tipped VMAX's smoke the cheaper .22 option. A gun like this is nothing about being cheap or saving money, purely for the neat factor.

Anyone allowed to have that much fun deserves a little hate... Very cool gun, I've never seen one before. Wouldn't mind learning more about it, who made it, what it's called...anything. A full/side view photo would be good. Even better...as suggested, a video of it shooting rapid fire.

It's called a BF-1 Vindicator, made by Lakeside Machine of Wisconsin some years ago, this one's unfired. Had the trigger lock on earlier and didn't want to marr the photos with it, but will certainly do an overall shot soon. Just enjoying this mechanical marvel.
