So I bought this thing from Aim firearms in Bradford roughly 2 months ago now. Haven't technically taken delivery of it yet being that I'm waiting on a replacement. They mailed the first one to me about a month and a half ago, I opened the box to find chokes randomly thrown about inside, but the gun seemed fine in the bag. I took it out and inspected it, seemed to charge fine and smooth. Then I noticed a large thumb print in the lacquered finish of the pump grip. I inspected the rest of the gun and found a chunk of wood missing from the birds neck grip. So I called up Aim, told them about the issues, they said no problem bring it back we'll exchange it for you. A week or so goes by and I get an email that my replacement is in. So I make the drive up go Bradford once again from Burlington. I get there, inspect the gun and find that pump grip is actually hitting the frame causing it to chip the wood. So I said I wasn't going to take it, they apologized and said they would get me another, that was over a month ago and they tell me they're still waiting on Trigger to send them another. But I'm seeing these pop up at different dealers like Tenda and they're selling out. I called them and asked if they've been getting any complaints from people that have bought them and they said no. So I'm curious if anyone here has one and what their impressions of it are? Have you had the same fit and finish issues as the two I recieved?
At this point I'm tired of waiting on Aim for another replacement and thinking of buying from Tenda instead since they have it listed as in stock and for less money. But I don't want to buy it if I'm going to go through a whole QC ordeal again.
Input from anyone out there that has one and has shot it would be great.
