Radium

My problem isn't with the people of BC. I have family and friends in BC. I have lots of BC customers and often patronize BC businesses both personally and commercially. My problem is with Horgan and that whats-his-name green guy. The whole idea of any boycott or hardship applied is to have people apply political pressure for change.

I'd prefer to just *ask* my friends and acquaintances to apply political pressure for change. Really dislike seeing good people getting hurt over the ravings of special interest snowflakes.

So back on topic, if I don't make it to Radium this year, it isn't about any BS posturing. Just hugely over-comitted time wise.

I can justify 1/2 day here and there for 'me' time. Loading the truck right now.....

Rob!

The sad part is that I have heard great things about these shoots, and I have been to Radium several times. And I do have the time to go, but having worked my entire career in oil, I feel compelled to take a stand. Hopefully common sense prevails, this nonsense ends soon, and I will be attending a shoot in Radium this summer.

Been doing this for years Stubble we have a no money spent policy if we can help it gets hard when you have property but we do our best even haul fuel and buy fishing license on line.

The majority of BC people truly dislike us.

Gun people in BC I would think are on our side with some of the political issues.

I don't know about the majority but a lot of BC residents really resent Albertan's and pull no punches letting Albertan's know about it. I have a daughter in Kelowna and she runs into this all the time. They all seem to like the money Albertan's put into their economy though because they all know that they'd live in poverty if it wasn't there.
As for the Radium shoot, I've attended it a few times as well as some of their other shoots and it's always a good time. The Elmer Fudd shoot was a really good idea that has gone over well, there's something about targets on the ground that drive a lot of shooters insane!

Alternatively, you could still support Vic and the club, but not spend any money in BC.

If your vehicles don’t make the distance, bring jerry cans, bring groceries in a cooler/fridge, camp (which is free at the range), etc.

You could, if you want, support the shoot without supporting BC’s economy.
