I know exactly what you're asking, and offering my opinion. You asked what the BC of a cartridge is, there is no such thing. But you can approximate the BC of the bullet.
These are the BC's for the 155 Palma bullet:
155 grain Palma Bullet
0.450 Above 2600 fps
0.443 From 2200 to 1800 fps
0.417 Below 1800 fps
For a final answer I suggest emailing BAE RORG and asking them what the BC is. They have given a lot of the ammo away at NRA shoots in the UK. You could always get two chronos and calculate it exactly at your range for the given temperature.

Thanks Maynard,I'm afraid that Canam has never heard of the RG155 or its uses.Despite my very clear question,and yes of course i'm aware that it's just the bullet that has a BC,he continues to blather on about other bullets.Not a very impressive ad for the business.

99.9% of all Issued 7.62mm to the UK armed forces is made by Royal Ordnance (British Aerospace) Head stamped RG. (www.rgammunition.com)
It comes in three flavors: - 144 gr Ball, 146gr Sniper and 155gr Sniper/Target
The rounds are generally packed in 20 round cartons or 50 round trays. Then into 200 round packs or 400 round boxes.
Ball is indicated by a Black dot on the packaging, the sniper by a Green dot (or Green Spot as it is known) and the 155gr sniper is a Black dot, just to be confusing.
Velocity / Accuracy: -
Ball - 830m/s - 125mm horizontal and vertical deviation at 550M
Sniper - 845m/s - less than 76mm (3") at 500M
155gr Sniper - 845m/s (2775fps) 94% hit probability of a target 250mm (10") by 250mm (10") at 550M

So you felt it is OK to slag me for that? While I have not personally tested the ammunition, I was offering a solution to your query. Bullets of a similar design and weight will have similar BC. But the best way of checking BC is two chronos under your range conditions. Either way I should have an answer from RG on Monday. Maybe that will be of assistance to you.
