Hi All,

I have an RAF marked Enfield No 2 Mk 1 revolver made in 1935, in really nice condition.

I am wanting to pick up a few extras for it but I am not exactly sure what would be appropriate. I have seen the blue pattern 37 holsters, ammo pouches, belts etc... for the RAF but I have been having trouble actually finding pictures of RAF pilots/aircrew wearing them. They don't seem to be wearing any of the 37 pattern webbing, just flight gear.

Does anyone have any good picture references showing pilots wearing holsters or carrying revolvers during WW2?

Thanks,

Cam

In about 1970 Allen Lever obtained webley and enfield pistols from New Zealand. They were 455's and 38s&w's. They put a sheet metal clip on sight on them to make them non-military. I bought some of these and one of them was a 1935 RAF marked enfield. He also had a limited amount of new enfield and webley holsters which were blue and grey.

Thanks for the replies.

Do you guys have the picture references showing them wearing the holsters etc.

Thanks
