Hey guys,
Got my first rifle not long ago (CORE15 M4), so i'm kind of new at all of this. Anyway I received my ARMS #40 back up sight and seem to be having trouble putting it on. It just seems WAY too tight to slide onto the rail.
I have my charging handle pulled back, removed the bolt/screw from the sight and have pushed the rear sight on. It is VERY VERY tight sliding on, to the point I was using the rubber end of a screw driver to lightly hammer it on. I seemed to have moved it just a fraction too far forward for the screw/bolt to line up just right and can't seem to move it backward.
Any advice on how to get this thing to move a little easier?
