Rain Gear

I am in the market for some new rain gear for the upcoming season , has anyone tried the " Redhead Stormtex or Squalltex " from Bass Pro Shops ???

What is everyone else wearing in regards to waterproof/windproof/breathable outerwear ?

What should be avoided ??

I use wetskins suit and have been in some hurricane like weather and stayed dry .

I got a suit of Wetskins but I find after a good hike I am just as wet inside as out as it doesn't breath , and it isn't very quiet ............

Just back from Costco got 2 sets of Wetskins one gray one blue $60 per set , claims that it is breathable . I know from the last set of Wetskins that its waterproof cause I used it camping , hunting , ATV'ing , fishing and just about everything else you could think of for the last 15 yrs and its still waterproof apart for some holes burnt in it and wear around the cuffs . So if this new stuff is breathable at all and lasts like the old suit I think I will get my moneys worth ................. I think I will look for a decent pair of boots with all the cash that I saved on the suits .

Anybody got suggestions on a warm waterproof hunting boot ??
