Rainier Arms Raptor Charging Handle

Both my first two came from One Shot Tactical, so I'm not worried.

My third one I had shipped to my hotel when I was working in the US from Amazon, who lists the vendor as AXTS (the manufacturer), so I'm pretty confident that one is real as well.

So I contacted a vendor in the US that I buy from often when down there and he told me that the easiest way to tell a forged Raptor is the way the "T" and "S" join. On a real one, one letter flows into the other and they touch. On a forgery, they don't. Also, the levers are, in fact, not equal in length (my mistake....I guess I never noticed that detail before). Any gap between any moving parts are close together on real ones, and the latch itself is "beefier" and closer to the body. The walls of the CH around the hole that the gas key goes through is also beefier. He emailed me this:

Real Raptors have different sized latches (forgeries have them the same size) and different roll pins

I went and pulled mine to check all these details. Even though I bought 2 of them from OSTS before the fakes started flooding the market, and the last one I bought from AXTS (through Amazon), I needed to see for myself. I appear to be GTG.

You guys made me go double check mine. Can't remember who I got it from but it looks like it's a genuine one.
