With a light rain and nice stalking conditions I got this young bird. Not the biggest in the flock but the only one that allowed for a clean shot....

Nice job. But where are the pictures with the yellow and red lines indicating wind direction, where the bird came from, your set-up, etc.??? Just teasing...looking forward to your coyote exploits this coming winter. I've never been fortunate enough to have a chance to go coyote hunting so I relish your detailed yote hunting posts. Please keep them coming.

That's a chit picture have you got a better, closer one? It kinda looks like maybe a turkey, or a huge ruffed grouse, or maybe a monster blue grouse................

Maybe it is a normal sized ruffed grouse and he is just a wee little man...

I could say that's a chit response, but hey, I think I will keep my thoughts to myself... says the wee little man.. :)

I wasn't trying to be a dink, I like to see pics of harvested animals and birds.........I was only critiquing the photo not the turkey or the hunter. Glad to see ya got one, just wish you had a better photo to share your moment with us.
