you realize the korth might be impossible to resell at a decent price whereas the SVI , you sure can resell it for close to the same price paid right ? SVI's are the most accurate handguns on earth right now.....

Yup, sold my fully decked out SVI at a "mere" $1k loss. Not bad for a $8k+ pistol. I don't think JP thinks or care about resale value, if he did, he would think twice before buying a revolver that will quite probably loose nearly half it's value at the moment it leaves the gun shop.

I hear you J.P. Since I have seen those Korth's I am very attracted to them too. Maye one of these days I'll have the 10K to spend on one (that could be achieved if only I would stop buying other guns - lol) and we can meet. I am a member at the same range you are.

I had a Korth .22 revolver two years ago. Beautiful piece. Did it shoot better than my S&W 17, nope, but the pride of ownership was great while it lasted. Mine was made in the late sixties, maybe by old Willie Korth himself. Not to poopoo on Carmel's thread but the Korths from the sixties/seventies are ones to get.

Bore axis is not much higher if at all. It can use standard 1911 mags in fact. There is also a lot of mass under the barrel in comparison to a 1911 so that changes the dynamics as well.

Besides, it's the perfect piece to console one's self when the Habs don't make the play offs.
