Ram Shot GRAND Powder

I'm thinking of trying Ramshot in my reloads. The cartridges I will be "topping up" are 243, 6.5 Swede, 30-06 and 9.3x62

The Hodgdon manual doesn't list a load for the 9.3x62 for the Ramshot powders. I have a pound of Varget, so that's not a big deal, but I was wondering if anyone has had experience with RS in the 9.3. I was going to use their 35 Whelen loads as a base, but they don't list those either.

anybody try ramshot in a 6.5 prc yet?

What is the velocity like with Grand?

That particular 6.5 PRC load wasn't cooking too hot, 2800 fps - but it was 4% (2.3grs below Hodgdon's max), max load is listed @ 2975 fps 24" brl

In my 6.8 Western, I've gotten very high speeds with Grand. 170gr Berger up to 2975 fps just like the data suggests

I have settled on using it for my 6.8 Western, 1-7.5" 26" X Bolt. Load is 66.12 grn. just under case cap with Hammer Hunter Tipped 160 grn. bullets @ 2.960" O.A.C.L. WLRM primers, 3146.2 FPS average 9 shot, standard DEV. 6.5 with cold bore, 2.2 without cold bore. I have never had results this consistent with any powder before. Temp stable, meters well, works great in long barrels. Cheers
