Ram shot Hunter in 7RM

Looking around at powder and I see this stuff is reasonably priced. I have been running 61 grains of 4350 under a 150 grain bullet in my 7 Rem mag. Literature says it’s comparable. Any suggestions or experience with this stuff?

It's slower burning than either IMR or Hodgdon 4350. You'd be safe to sub in your 4350 charge weight with Ramshot Hunter and slowly work up from there. It's faster burning than IMR 4831

I bought a 8lb jug a few years ago, it works well for me in 22 Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, 260 Rem, and 338-06

It's just a touch fast IMO, 7-Mag and Ramshot Magnum are made for each other.

If a guy usually runs 4350 in a 7RM, than Ramshot Hunter is a step in the right direction

I have Edition 5.0 of the Western Powders Reloading and Load Data Guide - is likely severely out of date now - they do show Ramshot Hunter powder in 7mm Rem Mag, but only with 120 grain bullets.

Edition 6.0 - Page 45 has the same loads with only 120 grain bullets listed with Ramshot Hunter Powder in 7mm Rem Mag.

Hodgdon (which now owns Ramshot) lists a 166gr Hornady A-Tip load over 61.4grs Ramshot Hunter @ 2947 fps from a 24" barrel
