I'm new to this powder brand
Will be first time I've used it
I'm a seasoned reloaded but normally
Stick to 4350 or 4831 in 270
Anyone have exp with this.powder with 130-150gr bullet weights
Gun used will be both Remington 700 and a new.783
 
I'm surprised that you found a supplier carrying the ramshot big game powder. It was my go to for years in the 7mm08 rem. But was unable to find any after I used up my last lb. What bullet are you going to be reloading for ??
 
I have a bit of this powder laid in. It makes a stellar load in my 30-06 rifles with the Hornady 150 GMX.
Accurate and fast, but I have not shot any game with it yet.

I'm quite certain it will be fine. Might be a tad "fast" for the 270, unless you were using light bullets. [110 TTSX, e.g.]

how much faster than varget is it? iv had good results with varget an 130gr, slightly lower speeds out the tube but critters didn't realise that
