Hey guys, I am not having luck looking in the ramshot reloading tables. I want to load some 190 Sierra BTHP but there is only reference to 180's and 200's. I also want to try some 210 gr Berger VLD's but there is only listing for 200 and 220gr bullets. Would be a good idea to split the difference in powder charge in between the recomended charge weights. For example for a 220gr it says to use 69.3 and for the 200grainers it says to use 73.5 so could I use say 71.3 grains of powder for the 210???????? Please help

You should be dropping the charge by 10% with a new load anyway. So split the difference and drop by 10%, then work up to velocity.

Okay but here's another question. If it says to use 69.3 for a 220 and73.5 for a 200 split the difference and dropping 10%? Would "dropping 10%" in this case mean going up because the lighter bullet is requiring more powder as apposed to the heavier bullet??????? I've only ever loaded for a 223, 7.62 russian and the 25/06. I've never had to deal with something like this??

Nope, drop 10% means 10% less powder. Please read up some more on reloading. Sounds like your are doing the reload-by-numbers without knowing the theory. You may also want to to speak to a ballisticition at the powder company. They can be a great resource for suggestions on new loads not in the books. Chances are they have alreayd tried your bullet/powder combo.
 
If the numbers are for a MAX load 73.5, and 69.3 split the difference which is about 71.4 and drop 10% for a starting load. If the numbers 73.5, and 69.3 are for a starting load, split the difference = 71.4 and start from there. You don't want to drop a starting load in a big case by 10% because it can create problems like hangfires. Hope this helps, you could always email or phone powder company and see what they have to say as they are usually helpful, Sierra bullets also has a toll free help line and are very helpful.
