So rick65cat came out for another day of beating the bushes. Me was out to hunt with a camera to share some pics with you fine folks in here. In the end rick did end up filling one of the supplemental doe tags ( white tail) and we got pics in the shop of it but its rather graphic so I wont post them.

But here are some pics of different mulies we came across....the one pic of the 2 mulies looking at us are real small bucks but its a nice pic any ways....its still to warm for the white tails to move much....but here are some pics to look at and enjoy. All deer were well within 150 yards of us...and most were at 75 yards or less...

All in all it was a good day cept for me being real tired after getting my cow moose last night....But I survived and this weekend is another day out..:)

It is hard hunting...its kinda like wholesale sports...take a number,stand beside the fence post with your assigned number...when mulie x passes in front of your number...shoot it...then continue to the check out isle where they have no idea what you just got but will scan it any ways and say that its not in stock any more....Hmmm...could be cause I just shot the last one with this number???:p
 
Ice, do you go for grouse or any small game at all? I'm looking at hunting the aforementioned, but am new to Alberta and haven't discovered too many areas I can hunt on without driving forever and a day.

Kinda bloody but thats from Dennis's moose he smacked. Mine was a lung shot through and through.
Missed a nice buck ealier in the day but it was approaching warp factor 2 crossing a field about 120 yrds away when I tried to get my shot off.
Like the cheesy camo job on the gun?

Something was wrong with my camera when I tried to take pics earlier in the day...maybe it was too cold? It was only in my coat pocket.

Jesus....how many did we see Dennis?...how many times did I get the s#!t scared outta me when walking a field edge and they take off from underfoot
