I've never seen a semi-auto with the ejection port on the left side.

Is there such a thing?

Randall pistols have ejection ports on the left side.

Walther Model 4, 7.65mm (1915-1929) had it's ejection port on the left side. Phased out of production for the more successfull PP series...

There is a lefty version of the USP but I'm not sure if its just the controls on the opposite side or if the ejection port is as well.

As has been pointed out, Walther had a thing about ejection to the left. But there are also pistols like the Beretta 1934/35 that eject straight up and back. I had an occasion to talk with J.B. Wood, who's written extensively about Berettas, and when I asked him how I could keep from getting banged in the forehead by hot brass, his answer was, "Wear a hat with a visor."
