What are you guys using for range bags/cases?

-do they carry your belt, ammo, gun, mags and tools?

Post up pics of your setups im trying to get an idea for what bag/case to get

One of the best:

http://shootersconnectionstore.com/Shooters-Connection-Tournament-Series-Shooting-Bag-PRO-Red-P2309.aspx

I have had mine for about 8 years now. The upside is it is very well made and laid out carrying everything you might need at the range. The downside is the upside it is big and I tend to carry more than I need.

Take Care

Large MEC back-pack here too. Holds tons... It would hold the new Ruger 10/22 TD! ;)

But I am currently scrounging around for a more professional and better thought out dedicated range bag too.. Glad this thread came up!

Currently using a Maxpedition MBP. Seems to be just the right size for me. Holds everything except for my gun belt and firearm.

I use either a shooters connection ipsc bag or my maxpedition vulture 2.

Depends on the discipline I think? For cowboy, I have a nice old timey looking crate on my cart. Holds all my ammo, guns, magazines, holsters, etc.. Even a spot for water/pop and an umbrella. For IPSC/IDPA/PPC, I got a real nice tool box on sale from Home Depot for $13.00. The top has two pull out trays. One I keep my eyes, ears, and paper work, the other holds a pile of chokes for the shotguns. The rest including gun rugged pistols fit in the bottom nicely with belts, ammo, magazines etc.. A nice use for a nice tool box.

A large duffel bag or hockey bag. Toss it in and go. Even better if you can lock it then you can toss the guns in too.

Another good idea!!!. I just like the idea of the harder case, so if something hits it, I am not concerned about something inside getting knocked out of place. I'm a clutz, so a more agile fellow could use the hockey/duffel bag swimmingly.

I very much like!!! I need a new set of kitchen chairs, could I be any more redneck?

I'm using a Dillon range bag with two add-on 5-mag pouches attached to the MOLLE webbing on the sides.

Holds everything I need except the belts and holster. 10 mags, 600-700 rounds ammo, luplula loader, ear and eye pro, gloves, leatherman, shot timer, staple gun and staples, paperwork, batteries. Still room to spare. It's more a question of how much weight I'm wiling to carry as opposed to how much it will hold.

Fusion Firearms sells a 12” wide, 8” deep and 17” long waterproof tactical range bag. It has a main Center compartment to hold Ammo and/or Handguns. Center compartment also comes with 2 padded side dividers and an additional bottom divider to separate ammo. It has 2 zipper opening end compartments; the end compartments also come with a smaller sub-end compartment that also has a zipper opening. The longer sides have larger zippered compartments, one with additional padded divider and the other long side compartment has padded dividers and Mag holding pockets. The Outside includes top handle and a shoulder strap. Molle type side straps are also incorporated in the design.. Very good quality construction with lots of manageable room. This is a great Range bag with all of the modern features and lots of manageable room for today’s shooter. Colors Available: Black & OD green

The price is $49.95 USD. From experience I can tell you they ship USPS and only charge the postage + cost of container.

For practice or if I'm traveling I like my Shooters connection bag because it holds EVERYTHING and it is by far the best bag on the market. But unfortunately it is capable of holding EVERYTHING so it tends to weigh a lot! For matches I prefer either my smaller Competition Electronics bag or my Blackhawk Titan pack which are much easier to haul around particularily at a big match. For matches I prefer to carry the minimum weight. Ammo for the day, cleaning/tool kit, mags, grip goo, batteries etc. I leave stuff like my timer, stapler, patch gun and other practice items out. I like the idea of the Dillon bag with the MOLLE attachments since you can leave practice items in them and just pull the pouch off for matches just leaving the neccessities.
At all costs avoid any kind of jumbo bag, you WILL fill it with all the crap you own and then have to try to haul it around.

$110 at Princess Auto.

Top drawer is for tools and ammo.
second and third drawers hold rifle mags for two different types of rifles (AR and CZ)
Bottom bin hold lunch cooler and all webbing, holsters, etc. It is big.

The unit comes apart into two sections for transporting in non-vans.

Has wheels and extendable handle fro dragging it across the range.

here is my bag setup...i can remove some molle pouches if it's too bulky or heavy.

i have so much crap in their now, i usually take out my tool kit and that drops the weight by 10lbs or so.
