Today going to try my 155 gr Scenars over the P-35, i have to developp a load that will push 3000+ fps out of my 20 inch Nemesis tube (In case i can make it to Tigrr mile shoot ) and did reload what i consider is gonna be a very accurate load with 208 Amax, Fed Mag primer and a case full of R-17, this is a 2600+ and hopefully sub .25, the backpack is ready... A big task, i know but i am gone push it to the pressure signs, if it is possible i will squeze it out... and keep the accuracy... JP.
 
I've achieved consistant results in the 2950-3050 range, depending on components and rifle, but this was with barrels a lot longer than 20".
Weather is cooler this time of year, something to keep in mind when summer comes.
 
I have pushed 155's at just over 3000 fps in a .308 with a 30 inch barrel. A drop tube was required to stuff that much Varget into the case. The load was not as accurate as the load I use that pushes the same bullet out at 2940-2950.

Please do tell what powder charge, type of powder, case and primer combination you are using to get these velocities out of a 20 inch barrel.
 
I did not succed yet but i did reload a 100 rounds of 155 gr Scenar, Lapua cases, from 46.5 to 48.5 gr of Varget in .005 gr increments max load being 47 gr, Br-2 and all with a jump of .015, OAL 2.870, so they will have to be load by hand as the mag is 2.855 max, as soon i get to hell door, i set back to the previous one and that should be the load, hopefully in the # i want, we will know that this afternoon... JP.
