Range day chinese SKS

Wow met a buddy at the range this weekend where he let me have
a drive of his Chinese SKS
Even more fun that i had previously imagined
Still leaning towards the Russian model for personal opinion
on looks but damn it was fun to shoot
Everyone needs at least one of these

That's an SKS "D" model; worth twice the cost (at least) of a Russian SKS.

Which means it also costs twice as much to buy. Its also a commerical SKS variant, and not a pure military rifle. I can see why people would skip 'D' and just buy a Russian milsurp SKS. I would.

As I understand it... not all 'D's have bayos, but some do. They were commercially made for the North American market and import restrictions in the US complicated the issue with bayos, so they weren't always attached. We don't have the same restrictions here.

At least that's what I've read in my research.
