Range Day with my new GP100

just finished my pmts on my GP100 blued. hopefully will have it home and safe with me in a week or 2. can't wait to have it in my hot little hands.This will be my first wheel gun hope it works out for me..Steve O

Ya, the grips on those things are a little over the top. I put the more traditional rubber with wood insert grips (ala GP101) on mine.
Made it much more manageable in my small hands.

I wish that they offered smooth or checkered all-wood grips with them, without having to go to the match champion. Even a more classicly-styled smaller size set of ribbed carbon plastic grips would be better.

SP101 even with a spring change isn't all that great. Been there, done that. Ruger kind of blew that one IMHO.

Same here. Thought it would be a no brainer purchase...terribly wrong. Trigger was atrocious and it's sized for SMALL hands. Quickly went up on the block.

I love my GP 100 also, it would be nice if they made the 4.25" in .22 with the same frame.

Another one in the club here. I got a match champion during Black Friday deals. It’s also my first wheel gun, & maybe I spoiled myself with it, but I now think I’m a wheel gun kinda guy. I just love it!

I like them & own them, but the standard factory barrel twist rate of 1-16" means semi-wad cutters are a must for best accuracy.
