Range Finders

I have a arc 1000, ranges deer/elk out to about 450-550 yards depending on conditions. I have had repeatable returns off of shiny rocks at 950 yards, but rocks at 700ish are most common. I tried a Hi-vis traffic vest and got out to 980 with the reflector. I have ranged tree's at 600 yards. My arc (angle finder and horizontal distance calc) sticks and doesn't work all the time. Also the hold overs/drop functions are ok, but don't really match up with my hunting rifles well. My hunting partner uses a nikon, and our distances are usually within 1 yard out to 300. His won't give repeatable numbers past 300.

For the money it works pretty well, but it's no Swaro
 
Very happy with my Scout 1000 with arc, same ranges as LongBomber mentioned....no issues at all with mine. Good product for around $300. I really like the size, it fits in a pocket with ease.
