Seems like a good rig for Hunter matches where targts have to be found and ranged

Are the on-board ballistic solutions precise enough for .22lr ?
Do they have enough choices to match the average ammo available?
Max distance is likely 300 m.

Sig Kilo 6k are on sale, 10x32 might be a little much but I like the x32 size

I gave the Vortex rangefinder binos without the ballistic calculator built in. As I understand it, you cannot manually input the ranges into binos. The APplied Ballistics would be sound I think, but the work flow is more flexible with a rangefinder separate from your calculator, whether Strelok, Geoballistics, or a Kestrel. I used Strelok and a 10 yr old Bushnell rangefinder when I shot a field match.

a little more digging found this

Your KILO has 8 embedded ballistic groups. The first 6 groups are
for centerfire rifles. Group 1 is the flattest shooting group with the least amount of drop. As
the group numbers increase, so does the bullet drop. Using the included Ballistic Groups card,
locate your caliber from the provided list. If your rounds are impacting low then move to a higher
numbered group. If your rounds are impacting high then move to a lower numbered group.
Group 7 represents common muzzleloaders and Group 8 represents an average crossbow.

still looking to see what is in the 'custom profiles'
seems more is available when paired with a Kestrel w/ Applied Ballistics 'Elite' instead of the onboard AB 'Ultralight'

I get that and did a shoot with mixed devices, but am concidering new optics and the idea of all-in-one came up, might shave off a few seconds ;)
so am exploring, for s&g's

I got a pair of the new leica pro's last year, but the main reason was for hunting. Range use is just a bonus with them.

I did get the AB add on package, and that has been awesome. No problem with my rifles at extended ranges, when I have the basic info properly.

I do shoot my 22lr out to 500m, but did not get a chance to play with the bino's and the 22 much, as it was well into hunting season when I got my 22lr back from getting a custom stock. This will now have to wait until warmer weather now, but I see no problems using it for the 22 and extended ranges. All info goes into the app, and transfers into the bino seamlessly for use, read outs.

I have the sig 3000 bino as well, but only use those for the paired scope. This sits on the wife's hunting rig, but from what I understand they should be okay to 300 m for the 22. Worked out fine to the 800m max without paired kestrel on the rifle.

I have not read into the sig 6000 series much, so can't say on that.

I have the Sig 3000 tuned to 22 and 17hmr - no problem. Just input the info you have (weight/velocity/drop/BC, etc ) into the Sig bdx app, and it calculates the rest. Best if you can then true it with actual drop. Its very very close sub 200yds, altho I havent tried it much past that. Good data in = good results.

thanks for that info
Have yoiu tried it with giving a different set of data for a new location or atmospherics? Sometimes the only proving for a match is gathered from a zero test, and maybe a velocity if a guy has a Garmin or such
talking .22 here still

still exploring what is available for apps, slow to understand the tech (

Strelok pro was a great app as well for this, until they banned it here in North America.

Just updated my phone and had to back door install it on the new phone. While digging up that info I thought I read about guys using a European server and getting it that way, through Hewei or something or other.

I don't know if there are any other "great" apps like it. Others are making do with what they can get, but nothing compares to the strelok app. Maybe did around for more info on it??
