Range Report: Browning 1911-380 Black Label

Hit the range today with my new Browning.


This target is the first mag of 8 at 10yds. Not to shabby for my eyes.


Once I figured out the trigger a bit, the next four shots pretty well touched. So i shot at the little 4" gong at 20yds at smacked it 7 out of 8. So all in all, really impressive accuracy. I think it will likely improve as the trigger breaks in.

Only fired 3 mags, but function was 100%. Pricey little guns, but I think their worth it.

I have the same one in transfer limbo it may be a month or two before I get to try it out.

Yeh, they are pricey for sure. I think the plain jane base model is about $350 cheaper. So you definately pay for the engraving and upgraded grips.
