Range Report-First timer with BVSS .223

I bought the rifle on the EE described as "properly bedded with Devcon"
and with the base installed.

Mystery solved both by a second glance and the information above. It is an MOA base as can be clearly seen here:

The Burris inserts all are labelled "0" so I will have to get some shims.
If the local store where I bought the rings doesn't have any (Reliable) any suggestions on where to get them?

And too late on the brass, they are already all tossed into a box.. damn.
Oh well, it'll be a little while before I get to reloading so I will separate out the Hornady and Federal for now.

So how long between groups should I be waiting?

not between groups but between shots. I am no precision shooter but any means but I get best results with my 303 if I wait more than 2 minutes for a barrel to cool down. Leaving bolt open also helps. First two shots could be squeezed in a quick succession, like 15 seconds but from then on I have to cool down barrel after every shot. With less powerful carttriges like 223 - I don't think you need to wait as much.
