Because I have a .308 target rifle I figured it reasonable to buy a hunting gun in the same caliber. Not that a reasonable excuse was needed, I have plenty of "spare" rifles around.
I purchased this tika recently from a fellow nut on this form. Thanks.
I gave her a good cleaning and tightened the rings and bases, then off to the range. Cool and gusty, but an excuse to get out.

The results.
155 Lapua / 45.6 Varget (my target load)
.883, .849, 1.312inches
165 Hornadys/ 46 Varget
.559, .824inches
168 Norma match factory
.690, .787inches @ 100
1.891inches @ 280m (.675moa)
Quite pleased for an inexpensive, out of the box, light barreled, hunting gun.

Nice shooting. I have one too in 308. I tried a wide range of loads using IMR 4895 and Hornady 150gr bullets and found most loads to be quite accurate. I settled on a middle of the road load of 45 gr powder and often get the first two shots touching or even better. The load was fine for deer hunting and I plan to make no changes. I have to agree, great out of the box gun.
