Basic range safety, mostly common sense and differs somewhat from club and range depending on the safety devices available at that range.......colored lights for safe and live, flags for safe and live, range in use flags, safe/live changeable signage. Proper range commands, what to do with misfires, hangfires and live rounds stuck in rifles/handguns.......it's pretty basic stuff really. If you have been shooting on a range very often, you should already know the safety protocols for that particular range. Whether giving the commands or receiving the commands one would think you will already be familiar with them.
It was many, many years ago when I got mine and there are many new games with some very specific safety regs that I probably don't know and you may be called on to know if these games are shot at your range.
