Range time with the FX-9!

For those who are overly worried about last shot hold open;

If you're shooting your gun dry on a competition stage, you probably aren't winning anyways.

I fully expect double stack pinned mags will be fine. It just appeared to be the single stack Canadian compliant genuine G17/34 mags that caused the bolt hold open not to work.

I think your right, I didn't even realize the 10 rounders were single stack! Just compared a single to a double and it's night and day how easy the follower tips forward when you push down on the area that engages the slide/bolt stop.

If anyone is confused as to what we are referring to check this picture out, it will give you a good example of a "true" 10rd mag, and a pinned mag. KCI on the Left, Glock on the right.

Heehee!!

Watching the FX-9 in action makes me want to order another one! Looks dead reliable and well made. Can't wait to get my paws on one!

still like the rifle but a bit disappointing that the rifle will come with a magazine that won't let the rifle work as designed

I believe that it was stated earlier that the Canadian version of the rifle comes with a Glock 26, 10 round double stack magazine that works perfectly, Wolverine correct me if I'm wrong here please. See below quote from Wolverine 303 in post number 10.

the G26 mag which is supplied to it work perfectly. The G26 is the short (baby Glock) magazine and works great at holding the bolt open.

Wolverine .303, you mentioned Wolff spring kits for Glock mags... There was only one place in Canada that carries them as far as I could tell and I bought the only one he had. Will you guys be carrying these kits?
