Rangefinder not made in China

Right now, let's say their isn't one. I am leaning towards Leica with a budget of $600-$1000 but I am curious to see if there are any other possibilities.

If there's no budget... Zeiss Victory RF binos are made in Germany.

Hello all,

I'm in the market for a rangefinder. Considering what's going on in the world, I'm doing what I can to avoid products made in China. I know Leica makes their rangefinders in Portugal but what of the other brands like Sig, Nikon, Vortex etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your clothing and toys make up 99% of your life? What I'm talking about is everything. Where was your spatula made? How about the can opener? What about the light fixtures and electrical receptacles? Your guns and optics aren't from china but what's on the label of your sling, carry case, etc? China has a big hold on manufacturing stuff for the world and it won't change for quite a long time. Not much we can do about it

A lot of things you have no choice, like the receptacles in your home. All my slings are either Blue Force Gear and Berry Amendment Compliant, or made in Canada with non chinese materials. Rifle cases are American. Bipods are genuine Atlas.

I agree that it's nearly impossible to be chinese free, however a lot of what we consume can be found from non chinese sources.

Nikon Laser Force is made in China.

I just today sent mine back for repair because the focusing knob broke loose while I was hunting. I've owned it for 3 years and it has been lightly used. Looks like I'll have to pay for repairs as I cannot find the receipt from 3 years ago.

I too am interested going forward not buying from China but as previous posters have said Not easy!!

He's just being an arse in making his point. A person can make a decision, at any point in their life, that they want to support manufacturing from a given place and proceed as such. Just like a person can quit smoking at any point. It' show you decide to live going forward that matters most.
