So gents I am looking to buy a rangefinder for both bowhunting and rifle hunting. I tried to order the Leupold RX1000 TBR from Cabelas this evening and it is a restricted item to Canada. So which ones do you recommend and who has the best prices?

My understanding was that the scopes, rangefinders and night vision, were under export control by the US Gov't.
Not much point shopping for best deals from somewhere you can't buy from. Doesn't matter how much better the price is, if you can't get it, or they are out of them.
But yes, the CRF900 would be a good unit. Not too much other than straight line range, and no choices of reticles etc. IMO, that counts as a positive.
The glass in the Leica's is good stuff.
