ranger 94 problem

can anyone tell me what could of happened to my ranger Winchester 94 ive had the gun from new and never had a problem till this year im thinking the gun is scrap . but im going to take it to a gunsmith to check it out thanks for your input !!!!!!!!!

that's not my gun but its the same thing that happened to me I don't have an pic upload installed but this is what I found to show you guys

What are you seeing? Marks, grunge in the extractor clearance cut in the breech of the barrel? There is a tiny chip on the very edge of the chamber. Won't make the slightest difference.
Got a better photo?
Have a competent nearby gunsmith?

I agree the tiny chip missing is a non issue.

It looks to me. like there is a lot more than a tiny chip missing from the barrel.

Is there not some sort of relief in those lever actions at the chamber end of the barrel.
It ain't no snafu if you ask me.
Umm, the extractor comes to mind...
Then again don't have a Model 94 in my locker/safe to compare it to...then again I haven't looked close enough with my reading glasses on to have made an informed opinion.

to answer most of the questions I noticed it this past sunday at the camp when I went to clean the gun funny part is I fired 3 shells and no split cases all was ok I even shot a deer with it this year and all was ok !!!!! im going to ask a gunsmith what might have happened hopefully I can get some answers when I do ill post it ..
