Ranger repeater

Anybody know anything about a ranger repeater?

no mention of cooey on it at all, so im not sure it was my grandfather gun, so,

Thats a cooey model 60 sold under contract from eatons. same thing with the cooey 84's.

Ranger was sold under eatons
Sureshot was Sears.

Yes, it won't say Cooey on it, only the model name for the store it was made for. However in this case I think it was made for Eatons. The early Eaton's guns were branded Eatonia but they switched to Ranger sometime before WWll. Sears was the "sure shot".

Seventy-five to one-fifty.
They develop a crack between the take down
nut and the opening in the trigger guard.

the stock was cracked but its been glued and refinished

I had one in pretty nice shape - no crack. It shot well. It also only said RANGER on it but was actuall a Cooey.
I sold it on here a few years ago for around the 90 to 130 mark shipped IIRC.
I would not sell it today for that price though as I sort of wish I would have kept it.

This gun holds more family value that I could ask for, it won't be sold, was just curious about it though thanks guys

the ranger and model 60 are the same gun only they have a different name that is all
