I am contemplating getting another single shotgun, mostly for clays, plinking and some hunting. I already own a new H & R in 20 gauge and am looking to the 12's. I noticed in the EE that there are two Ranger shotguns for sale and I know next to nothing about them. does anyone out there know anything about them and how they would compare to the H&R? I like the idea of the external hammer system as I can close the breach without the gun being cocked.
