ranges and gun shops near Ottawa

I'm not sure where else to post this so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

I'm going to be moving to Gatineau in a few weeks and am trying to find range and shop options in the area. I know there's a range in Stittsville but I was curious if there were any others in the area. I'm from Peterborough and I'm a bit spoiled having two handgun ranges in the area as well as a well stocked gun shop.
 
There's 4 or 5 in the general area - if you don't mind ~ an hour drive.
That's on the Ontario side. To tell the truth, I have NO idea as to whether there are any nearby ranges on the Quebec side.
I've heard there's a decent gunshop or two in Gatineau, though. silverfoxdj should know more about the local situation to the north.
Gunco is THE 'smith in Ottawa - Jason is excellent.
There are also a couple smaller guys in the general area that I know of, though not about.
 
No matter where you'll be moving in Gatineau (East or West end of town), you'll want to make sure to shoot in Ontario. The additional restrictions in shooting at a club in Qc is mind numbing.

EOSC is a great club (the one I belong too along) and I recommend you check it out. Very friendly atmosphere and even though there are a lot of members, you can usually have a full bay to yourself.

RA Center in an indoor shooting range only, with very limited space and ridiculous wait time.
Stittsville I haven't been there in a very long time, but members seem to be happy. The drive there, in traffic, through both Gatineau, Ottawa...have fun!
Connaught (DND) is one of the best ranges in Easter Canada, but you'll only want to go there if you don't mind being treated like a retarted 7 y/o child. That and it's way further than you'll want to go as the hrs of operation (that civi can use the range) is very limited.

As for stores, the only one I recommend is Millbrook Tactical; its a few minutes from the Canadian Tire Centre (where the Ottawa Senators play). Lots of high end gear. No firearms or ammo though.

Rampart International is also located in Ottawa, but it's not a brick&mortar store, so no walk-in - online orders only. Cheap shipping so that's the plus.

You will have to order and have deliver pretty much everything else - don't expect to find a OSTS, SFRC, Wolverine, Wanstalls, etc here in Ottawa-Gatineau...quite unfortunately.
