Ranges In The ottawa Area

RA Gun Club (indoors); Stittsville Shooting Ranges west of Ottawa; Eastern Ontario Handgun club near Cheney On; NDHQRA/NCRRA at Connaught ranges; Smiths Falls Fish & Game plus another pistol club next door; Grenville fish & Game in Prescott; Cornwall handgun club; Arnprior handgun club ( indoors) the above are more or less in order of distance from downtown Ottawa

I shoot at the RA center. Pistol shooting schedule is monday and wednesday evenings Saturday mornings from 10-2pm Ipsc saturday afternoons.

I've been to the RA and Grenville FGC. I found the RA centres range to be too small and doesn't really give the shooter enough time to shoot, but the grenville range is large, but outdoors, so not the best in the winter. Out of the two I would go to the RA centre in the winter and grenville in other seasons, but the other ranges might be really good too.

I think most pistol shooters go to the RA Centre in the winter. The rest of the year they usually would go to the club nearest their home. You can find info at:

Other then IPSC practice indoors on sat. the RA sucks ass....
Shoot outdoors, you're canadian, you can handle the winter.
