Ranier Arms Match Grade BCG Gas Key Staking...?

We OP....I hope you have learned your lesson. The Black Rifle Forum is no place to post questions about Black Rifle parts and components. It annoys other members, so you better cut that crap right out.

My suggestion is the first step to a solution. Is there even a problem? Great post...

I'm not entirely convinced it is in fact a genuine Ranier BCG. Worth sending pics to Rainer and getting their word on it. As for staking, it's easy and should be done on every AR rifle sold, regardless of brand. Sadly, only the upper crust of manufacturers seems to do this.

You aren't going to war with it are you? Then really, who cares? It's a sporting rifle, IF something comes loose you can easily re tighten it. All this fuss over nothing gets tiring after a while.

Not yet. The "refugees", i.e. invaders have only begun to trickle in. There'll be lots more to follow.

Two words-----blue locktite, and torque to spec, unless of course your going into battle then by all means get it staked properly---Dieseldog!

Blue locktite won't do any good for a bcg. Before over reacting about the bcg, why don't you start by shooting it first?

I'd call Ranier. They supposedly are real good when it comes to defective parts. Wouldn't doubt it if they sent you a new one and dealt with the import details.

Agreed....then you crapped on the OP for posting a question. There is the issue.

Can't members just be helpful to each other instead of insulting them for daring to ask a question. It's not like anyone of is is obligated to click on and read any particular thread. If someone posts something that you or I think is an easy question or not worth our time....just move on.
