RANT......Hey Westerners what the hell is a ky-ute?????

All I've got to do is look at an electoral map to make that judgement, but as had been stated a few times already, this is not the politics section so I will leave it at that.

his might help ;)

Coyote.....aka Ki-yute....Ki-yoat....Ki-yo-tee....Yoat....Yoatee....Songdog

Now lets get this thread back on track!! Enough of the East vs West crapola!!

I don't care what you call them as long as they come when I call them!

Does anybody still hunt them with hounds? Is there anywhere that still allows running hounds?

The analogy has a basis in fact, and personal observation. I've worked with many people from all over Canada that moved west for work and some very strong patterns emerge. On average it takes 2 or 3 years for someone from Ontario to be reschooled. Right up to that point they cannot comprehend that their view of the world isn't universal and that someone might not even care what they think, or how it is done in Ontario.
.

One of my best friends and hunting partners would certainly agree with you-in fact #####es about the topic every now and then. He moved to BC in the mid 1990's from Ontario. :)

That said, I hunted in Ontario with some great guys, very gracious hosts. :)

Probably because you have never had people from other provinces move to your area and try to change things into "how it's done" in their province.

Um, I live in Ontario, everyone from here is from some other province and country.
I don't blame a region because of a handful dartboard goalies.

You'd be off your rocker if you think people in Ontario want people in Alberta to be out of work.

You'd have to be a piece of work to think like that.

With all due respect, and that respect comes from my interactions with westerners..... 56% of Ontario did not vote liberal....... (yes some voted NDP, but we all have our weirdos)..... so why paint everyone with the same brush?..... and why is an election result the deciding factor to do so?.....

As for measuring easterners based on those that head out west to work the patch, that is a very selective sample and consists mainly of those that want the money, and a better life for their family...... patch work is hard work, and I commend anyone that is willing to do it....... I was done the hard work phase of my life when I left the forces..... the liberal government killed manufacturing in this country, so I studied past my university education and changed fields to logistics..... my province may accept transfer payments, but it isn't because of guys like me...... the taxes I paid last year were higher than the Canadian mean salary.....

No doubt we need improvement as a country and how money is dispersed, but to infight will help nothing.... there are epicentres of crap in every province....... and good people end up in those epicenters for no other reason than they have to support their family and need money..... a situation I can identify with......

I will tell you this though..... been on this board a long time, and there are members I would love to meet and have a pint with from every province and possibly enjoy a hunt as well.......

We aren't all as different or divided as some may think......
