Today I was out in Saskatoon doing some xmas shopping when I saw one of the most disturbing things to date. There was a blaze orange clad driver in a little red toyota truck going right down the middle of downtown on 3rd ave. No tailgate in his truck, and about 3 or 4 skinned deer carcasses in the box on some poly. Its one thing to shoot deer and butcher them, but its another to drive down the street with a bunch of meat in the back of your truck for everyone to see. I wouldn't transport a side of beef just out in the open like that, and I definitely wouldn't do it with game. Not just because its a good way to get the meat all dirty, but its also crude and unsightly. I mean, how much money does a tarp cost? Its definitely cheaper than giving the anti-hunters one more bit of ammo!
Just made me mad. Figured I would share.
