Rapid z800 question

Im trying to find out how to use the Rapid z800 on a .243 load of mine. I used the calculator they have on the Zeiss website and these are the numbers I get for my load

Bar 3- 1.7
Bar 4- 3.8
Bar 5- 6.15
Bar 6- 8.8
Bar 7- 11.78
Bar 8- 15.1

It says these are actual hold overs so does this mean that on bar 7 I need to hold over 11.78" over the target to make the shot for the 680 zero point or is this MOA values? Kinda confused but Im sure one of you guys know how to use it properly.
It also says the optimize power was 11.75X

You should be able to get the bars to equal a yardage mark when you use their program. The optimum power feature gives you a power to dial which makes the bars most closely match their intended distance. Example would be bar 5 would equal 510 yards and bar 6 equal 596 as opposed to having them further away from even yardages like say 535 and 630. You can use max power but you will just have to remember more random numbers instead of 300, 400, 500 etc

Wouldn't it be quicker and more importantly easier to range dial and send it with turrets? Not sure what ziess your running but even the 3-9x40 mc have some what use able turrets.

Depends on what you like to do I guess. I'm not sure how repeatable the conquest turrets are. I really like to use holdover reticles myself for a standard hunting rifle. Sometimes a one inch tube won't give all the adjustment you need. I like the Swarovski Brx/Brh reticles which are in .5 mil spaces out to 4.5 mils or 5.5 if you want to use the top of the bottom post. For long range shooting I have scopes that dial but if hunting and something moves maybe 50 meters after your set up you don't have to fiddle with the turrets again you just adjust your hold. Also you'll never forget where you're turrets are zeroed or forget to put them back to zero if you never mess with them.
