OK This is not a gun we see alot up here so i thought id post pics of the beauty i just got and some info on theses well made revolvers.
Theses are big guns like the WG and what great actions they have.
I included a picture of me holding it to show its size but i have big mits like and orangotang

its a 450 Caliber gun. This one is a Army & Navy retailed Tranter as states on its barrel top.
The cylinder is plenty long enough to chamber and shoot 45 schofield if i want.
I am planing to keep this gun i think at least till i get a chance to shoot it.
The gun is refinished but what a great job that person did.
Theses 1879 models only have a lever on one side but they sure shut up tight.
this is so neat that they made stuff this good back in 1879...
Theses are break open action like a Webley MKI or WG army but i like the action much better. the gun is quality all the way.
Every tranter i have had has impressed me.
this one locks up tight as new and has a great bore still.
That little silver stud in front of the trigger gard is so you can open the qaction and not have the ejector throw out the cases.
If you dont depress that stud the gun ejects everything out fast.
The English army screwed up and missed out on getting theses guns as service weapons but lots were private purchased by officers.
Im going to find out if some officer bought my gun soon.
There should be records in the CSL Sales records.
