I have a pushfeed stainless model 70 featherweight. The stock is synthetic and looks like the classic style. Inside the stock is written featherweight. On the slim barrel there is a fancy cursive written featherweight stamping. I've never seen one like this. Is anyone familiar with something like this? I'm Thinking it's a very early version of the featherweight

This is a CRF? I believe they started them in stainless about 1990. They had walnut stocks first and then came out with plastic stocks. I've seen a few but not a lot.

Is it possible that it is a CRPF? It would then feature a spring loaded extractor on the bolt rim. This is something thing they did for a few years. I had a coyote with CRPF. Not a Mauser style extractor but similar to what I think some Savage's featured. Other than that I'm not aware of a stainless pushfeed but if that's truly what you have I'd say it's pretty awesome.

I was able to find a picture of another one on another forum. Definitely a stainless pushfeed FTW. Can't see the bolt face though to identify if it's that CRPF they tried for a few years. Cool rifle though

Yep very nice rifle. The CRPF action should have had an interrupted bolt face where the case rim would slide under the spring loaded extractor. Yours looks like a true pushfeed. Keep it around it's a nice rifle.
