Rarest of the Rare

Not sure how many were produced, but here is my 1919 Tula M1891 rifle. Quite rare.

The rest of the pictures and a write up is posted at http://www.milsurps.com/content.php?r=429-1919-M1891-Mosin-Nagant-Rifle

Beautiful! I don't have any photos to post, but how uncommon are the Remington produced M1891 rifles? I just picked up a matching one from 1917 with the SA stamp on it as well!

I have a Colt New Service...ok not so rare you say however it was a side arm in WW1 for a Montreal police officer.....it gets better. Before becoming an officer in Montreal he fought in the Riel Rebellion....not with the Colt however. ;)

Not technically a milsurp, but certainly rare.

M1910 .280 Ross

I'm loving those laminated lee enfields. I didn't know such a thing existed. Can you fine folks tell me more about them?

Nuttin' special I suppose:

1945 dated French MAS 44, one of about 13,000 made right after the war
a two-digit Italian Garand, bought on the EE a few years ago

Very interesting thread, it's fun to see what people consider their rarest of the rare.

I'm not sure what I to add, my rarest guns by production numbers or most desirable in terms of collector appeal. And what about condition and originality?

To me, the rarest of the rare would be an uncommon gun sought by many collectors in top condition.

Here's a gun that's super rare and in top condition, but in terms of being desirable it resides on the wrong side of the border.

Last time this pistol made an appearance on CGN most members didn't even know what it was. I suspect that while my U.S. Marine Corps model 1905 revolver is ultra rare in Canada, I'm not convinced it's necessarily my most desirable.

Maybe this old girl has a couple of brothers or sisters left in North America. I know of two others....

Between 150-250 made initially.
