Hey guys, I just picked up a Rasheed carbine off a guy here. low and behold I took it apart and realized the firing pin is well in pieces. the rear is in two and so is the front part. now my question is where would someone be able to get another firing pin or would any companies make them?

Not sure if it is the same size as the AG42B. I can measure mine up and compare for you. Won't be done until later tonight. In the mean time try to measure yours and take a couple of pictures.

It is a two-piece firing pin. I have been looking for one for a year now, no luck. I actually made one from a TT-33 firing pin. I can post pics if you'd like.

its kinda hard to measure mine cause well its in pieces and the tip that hits the primer is completely broken.
I have a ag42 one coming in the mail.
how did you make one out of a tt-33 firing pin? photos would be great

how do you add photos to a post?

yea, would a hakim firing pin work for a Rasheed. when I google it they come up as interchangeable but im just not too sure.
brownells says that an sks might work.

I think a hakim pin is longer. I will check in a min to see for sure. In the mean time, here are pics of my modified TT33 firing pin. I mig welded some material to the back to mak it a bit longer and filed down the sharp corners toward the top so it wouldn't get stuck after firing. It have been working great for the last year.

You should really upload some pics of your pin to photobucket or a similar site. I've never seen the firing pin extension broken before. It may be possible it has a three piece pin like the Hakim.

I had to go to photo bucket but yes, I saw them.

There is a guy on Ebay / Gunbroker selling pins but he refuses to ship to Canada. That's the only source I know.
