Not bad considering you're wearing gloves but you need to keep the gun shouldered as mentioned above, and if speed is the primary consideration you need to do as the 3 gun guys do and be able to scoop up and load multiple rounds at a time.

Once you've got the basics down it might be beneficial to start practicing loading while on the move or in awkward positions.

if you insist on unshouldering the weapon then you need to move your shell holders to the right hand side, and higher up.. load the mag tube with your right, you'll be faster..

if you want to load with your offhand, then you need a new method of shell retention.
side saddle or shell caddie
loops like that are all good but only when you have time, and since this is about speed loading, you dont have time.

I remember reading somewhere (or watching) that if you are un-shouldering the shotgun, move the shotgun to the shells, not the other way around.
keep things tight together.

one method with a side saddle is to place the first shell in the chamber overhand, then rotate the entire shotgun , so the top of the butt-stock is resting on top of your shoulder.
then reload each shell out of the side saddle ( I know you aren't supposed to keep brass down).
This keep your hand on the fore-end of the shotgun, away from the trigger and everything tight and close.

Mostly, do what feels comfortable.

Nice work!, and balls for posting yourself like other have mentioned. I did a TDSA course, and they trained us to,(for a righty), cradle the shotty with your left hand/arm, loading port up, and loading the shells with your right hand, (easier to do than describe). It seemed to work well, and you could get great visual contact on theloading port, which I have personally found to be the key to my success on speed reloads with any firearm. Just my 2 cents. Keep it up!!

didnt the post you quoted say
"AND OUT OF RESPECT, LET'S NOT BROADCAST HER NAME" ?
way to go

Cool off sunshine - she's a public figure and as easy to find as typing in "Team Benelli 3 Gun", not somebody's wife or daughter who isn't in the public eye all the time.

I'm pretty certain she can handle a stalker and I highly doubt she even knows what CGN is...

either way, not your call to make, as you aren't her

Nor yours or anyone else's to dictate who does and does not get identified. Would we be having this exchange over someone identifying a clip of Taran Butler or Rob Leatham??? I highly doubt it. If she was an unknown and asked to not be identified would be one thing, this is another altogether.

Come down off your high horse and get real...

Not too bad considering the bloody cold weather it looks like you are shooting in.

Gloves make everything slower so I say good effort all around.

I would have to agree with some comments that a weapon mounted carrier would be much faster for speed reloads, my silly mantra is "on the gun is faster than on the belt" but that can only be applied against certain firearms (ie, I run my carbine with 4 ten round LAR mags coupled together for 40 on the gun. Obviously, I cannot run something like this on a pistol)

Get a copy of Magpuls Dynamic Shotgun. There are tons of little things that can be used/changed/tweaked that just make your loading that much faster. The more techniques you practiced and commit to muscle memory, the more tools you will have in the face of adversity.

As a side note, has anyone else noticed that TV-PressPass looks like a younger Quentin Tarantino? :)

Skinnier Tarantino. yep.

Here's my "speed reload" technique. it works well enough for me. It's kinda hard to see, but if you're watching it's there. (especially cuz I'm wearing camo!)

Not saying I am better then this, but you asked the question.

Lots of wasted time in the reloads in my opinion. When you ran empty, there was a pause. When you put a shell in the mag, there was a pause, when you were going to re-engage the target, the gun went up, then down, then leveled on target.

It was still a decent set of reloads, but with training and snap caps you could really improve those little bits of dead time.
