Rattle can ARs!!!

Been thinking about Duracoating/Ceracoating my Stag-10 to Magpul FDE... but I’m cheaping out and I may just rattle can it.

Give me some insperation!

If you want to rattle bomb it, order some aervoe mil spray paint from DS TAC. Way better colors, the krylon ones are crap.

I have used Krylon rust tough enamel flat black .
It actually comes out a grey/black color which matches the Colt early SP1 .
Kind of like a grey Parkerizing finish .

Most people use krylon and won't see a need for anything else (which is perfectly fine), but if you know anything about spray paint you know Krylon is pretty bad quality paint. Not counting the fact they have a minuscule color palette... The best "regular" rattle can paint you can use is actually graffiti paint. All the spray paints you will find in stores have VERY LOW pigment concentration and overall horrible paint quality. For a quality rattle can spray paint you want an european paint.

What I recommend is Montana MTN 94.

Only hiccup is if you're not around Montreal you can't really go see the colors in person, you have to rely on your monitor color settings for ordering and that's usually off.

Just re-reading. If you want to do it in one solid color as close to Magpuls tan, I believe it’s aervoe’s field drab that matches it fairly closely.
